When to Call Hatzalah Poster

I called Hatzalah because I didn’t feel well. I didn’t think I needed to go to the hospital, it was Shabbos, I just wanted to get a medical opinion. One of the volunteers, who lives on my block, picked up on an abnormal finding in my belly. He convinced me to go get checked out. It turns out I had an abdominal aortic aneurysm, a rare and potentially fatal condition. He saved my life that night. - Rachel

Something didn't feel right but it was Friday afternoon and I was trying to prepare for Shabbos. All of a sudden I felt like someone was stabbing me In the back. I called Hatzalah and they were there In seconds, but by the time they checked me out I was feeling better. They were calm and caring but firm In their position that I should go get checked out. That persistence saved my life. - Aviva
